C-I STEAM is a K-5 choice school-within-a-school for Cambridge-Isanti Schools. Our curriculum incorporates science, technology, engineering, environmental science, the arts, and mathematics. STEAM learning integrates technology and hands-on learning around content themes and experiences that use community resources to maximize learning. Students can explore their passions while learning responsibility for themselves and others. 

Our focus is on developing curious, independent students of character who are critical thinkers, own their learning, and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Our highly effective staff leads project-based, collaborative learning and active partnerships with families and the community. Guided by our Bluejacket values — honesty, respect, responsibility, self-discipline and compassion — we foster a sense of belonging and community for every student in our school. We are a Minnesota PBIS Exemplary School that emphasizes meeting the needs of the whole child.
